Peanut Butter & Jelly - Blueberry or strawberry, banana, protein powder, lecithin, spirulina, granola, organic peanut juice.
The PB&J Juice is actually not a juice, its a smoothie, but its the most amazing and healthy smoothie you may have, no wonder I first came across it in Melvin’s Juice Box. You would not need a juicer for this juice, but a blender (any blender) will do the work (if you are not sure read this post first), so now that you are ready to juice, lets get started.
Everybody loves PB&J sandwiches, and now we can also enjoy the PB&J juice (or smoothie to be correct), what I really love about this juice, is that it’s so tasty yet so healthy, Like many other juices, I learned this juice recipe from master Melvin (Melvin’s Juice Box). The combination of blueberries (or strawberries) which are natural antioxidantes with the ‘Smoothie must have’ banana is a classic, but this is where this recipe takes a great turn by adding a nice chunk of protein along with lecithin, spirulina, granola to keep you high on fresh enzyme and minerals, finishing up with some organic peanuts, other wise it wouldn’t be a real PB&J.
This juice is a great addition to a cleanse, but also to any daily routine, I know many people who added this juice to their post workout regiment and saw fantastic results, since it’s so high on protein and it gives your muscles anything they need after a workout.
handful of blueberries or strawberries
1 serving of protein power
1 tbsp lecithin
1 tsp spirulina
2 tbsp granola
2 tbsp organic peanuts
Coconut water (optional)
Place all the ingredients in your blender, mix well, add some coconut water if you want to lighten the texture and drink.
Press your peanuts in the peanut butter maker or run them through your masticating juicer, meanwhile place the rest of the ingredients in your blender, mix well, add the peanut butter and a bit of coconut water if desired.
